Welcome to the website of Computer-Aided Process Engineering Group (shortly "CAPE Group") at UCT Prague. Our research is focused on application of mathematical modelling in various areas of chemical/bioprocess engineering, such as:
- Development of fast, robust and accurate models for both on-line and off-line optimization and control of industrial processes.
- In silico design of biodegradable polymers with tailored molecular architecture.
- Modelling of morphology evolution in hetero-phase materials.
- Thermodynamically consistent description of liquid-vapor and liquid-liquid interfaces.
- Transport-reaction processes and mathematical morphology related to porous media.
- Simulation of particulate/dispersion systems dynamics.
- Use of machine learning in engineering fields.
